you are here - an interactive exhibit by josh lim & associates at the klue urbanscapes 2004

You Are Here is an interactive exhibit that explores the concept of place, and time. Three iconic circles are projected, represent hour, minute and second, and contain within them, units of time that rotate logically, though not always expectedly. It shows progression and relationships between numbers and representations which would otherwise mean less by themselves.

The exhibit also literally involves the viewer. The prime viewing spot for seeing the exhibit, also places the viewer right in the center of attraction - on the projection, via an external video source.

A prominent tagline is displayed - "You cannot control time. You can only control how you reflect on it." Literally, this translates into the fact that significant movements by the viewing audience will translate to reactive visual movement in the projection.
